Continuing with an excellent run of results, Peruvian Lucca Mesinas won the classic La Herradura tournament yesterday, Sunday, after an intense day with his left hand working perfectly.

The Peruvian's backside was as sharp as ever, combining it with some great tubes to win in the grand final against Miguel Tudela, Adrián García, Sebastián Correa, Jean Piere Collin and Carlos Mario Zapata, in that order, reported the local website, Surf Place.

Mesinas is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Olympic Games, a round at the Barra de la Cruz CT, a world Surf Web Series winner, and a top 10 finish at the ISA World Surfing Games, among other important results.

The Peruvian will now compete in the US Open as the first of four challengers that can get him into the 2022 CT.
