Manny Resano chosen in Surfer's article as one of the 5 best "unknowns" of Mavericks

Argentine-Nicaraguan Manny Resano was chosen as one of the five most underrated surfers of Mavericks, according to Surfer magazine based on what the young local star, Luca Padua, considered.

“Manny is the definition of a person who does it because he loves it,” Padua said, adding an anecdote: “There was one day in the winter when the weather was bad, cold, with a southerly wind, but with big waves in the water. I wanted to be one of the first ones in the lineup that day, so I paddled with Hunter (Murrison) in the dark and when we were going over the rocks we saw that there was already another person, and we couldn’t believe it. Of course it was Manny.”

The other four surfers on the list are Hunter Morrison, Mike Joshua, Pat Shaughnessy and Tyler Fox.
