Manny Resano surfed one of the best waves in history at Mavericks

The Argentine and Nicaraguan went straight down one of the bombs on the day of days at Mavs, waited for the huge tube, made the bottom, drew the line and lived to tell the tale

Yesterday, Argentine and Nicaraguan Manny Resano surfed one of the best waves in the history of the swell of the last 20 years at Mavericks.

There have been plenty of photos and videos on social media of many waves, but curiously not of this one, which seems to be the best of the day.

Resano landed a bomb, went straight down and even waited to bottom. When he decided to do it, he stayed close to the wall, waiting a little longer for the lip to cover him. When the time came, he drew a high line with his Jeff Clark Surfboards and went out at 500 per hour.

Year after year, Resano has been standing out in the sessions at Mavericks, and yesterday was the day of days, and everything indicates that he took the best one. And this makes it one of the most important achievements in the history of Latin American big wave surfing.
