QS top surfer Marco Giorgi confirmed that he will be on the Uruguayan team that will participate in the ISA World Championships in El Salvador between May 29 and June 6, this was reported by the surfer himself on social media.
"This month I received the news that we are going back to competition this year. We still don't know all the dates or locations, but it seems that it will happen. The first championship will be the ISA games in El Salvador, where I will be trying to get a place in the Tokyo Olympics representing Uruguay," wrote Giorgi.
He added that he is working with coach Thales Marx to "fine-tune his training."
In the shared video, it is seen only on the right, as there are many in El Salvador. The event will take place in El Sunzal, which is a right-wing party, and in La Bocana, which is predominantly left-wing but also has right-wing parties.
Prior to Marco's post, the Uruguayan Surf Union told DUKE that they will announce the full team this week.
