Herdy by WSL-Diz
Brazilian Mateus Herdy, the second surfer who failed to qualify for the CT (he placed 12th in the 2024 CS) was invited to compete in the Abu Dhabi CT that will take place between February 14 and 16, reported the Brazilian IG profile AOS Mídia.
According to the publication, Herdy takes the place of Crosby Colapinto who injured his elbow while surfing in Hawaii.
The Abu Dhabi event has not yet released its series.
There are still several spaces to be defined, such as the wildcard that is left over for the locals, which in the case of Abu Dhabi is known to not exist.
Another surfer who is looking forward to competing in the tournament is Nadia Erostarbe who competed in Pipe to replace Johanne Defay and now it seems that the Frenchwoman is back on track.
