Medina's new sponsor
It's not Nike or Red Bull, it's an ice cream brand.
Medina is probably the surfer who has had the best relationship with brands outside the world of surfing, and this agreement confirms it once again.
The Brazilian three-time world champion has just closed a deal with Los Los ice cream, a brand that has 3500 points of sale, 39 flavors and a presence in nine of the 26 Brazilian states.
The incident occurs amid the huge mystery surrounding what brand will be on the tip of the surfer's board after he and Rip Curl parted ways.
“What happens when someone searching for the perfect technique meets someone who makes the most delicious ice cream? It’s the perfect match. Gabrielmedina has spent his life climbing from the bottom to the top. We don’t stop until we offer true flavor in every ice cream we create. Each on our own path, but with the same goal: always more,” says Los Los.
As for who the Brazilian's new sponsor will be, there's still no news.
