During the Punta Rocas Open Pro, a little giant named Brianna Barthelmess left many people speechless, both during the free surf sessions and also when competing.

At a key moment in one of her qualifying heats, Brianna attacked a powerful section of Punta Rocas and completed the maneuver with grace, flexibility and good reading.

In a category that includes surfers up to 20 years old, Brianna, 11, started by winning her heat with that maneuver and then moved into second place, but leaving out the outstanding Vera Jarisz and Genesis Borja.

Once in the quarter-finals he pushed Tainá Hinckel but that was the end of his championship, with a very worthy fifth place.
