Merello, Medina, Ibarra, Malpartida and Arca invited to big wave event in Brazil
Itacoatiara Big Waves recognized the big wave talent of the Argentine, Peruvian and Chilean surfers
Chileans Cristian Merello, Chacha Ibarra and Diego Medina, Peruvian Alvaro Malpartida and Argentine Juan Arca were invited to the Itacoatiara Big Waves championship, a big wave event that will take place when the sea gets giant in Nitéroi, Rio de Janeiro.
Other guests include the Portuguese Joao de Macedo, Tony Laureano, Alex Botelho and the Brazilians Lucas Chianca, Rodrigo Koxa, Pedro Calado, Marcos Monteiro, Lucas Silveira, Felipe Cesarano, Everaldo Pato, Kalani Latanzi, Wiggolly Dantas, Eric De Souza, Gabriel Sampaio, Guttemberg Goulart, Paulo Moura, Ian Cosenza and Caio Vaz.
With a good south swell, the waves at Itacoatiara tend to be huge.
