Mexican on the list of competitors of the Jaws Challenge
Isabelle Leonhardt appears as second alternate for one of the heaviest tournaments of the year

In the statement sent yesterday by the WSL after giving the green light, Mexican Isabelle Leonhardt appears as the second alternate on the list of competitors for the Jaws Challenge that will take place tomorrow in Peahi, Maui, Hawaii in waves expected to be between 30 and 45 feet.
The updated list sent is detailed below:
Guests: Paige Alms, Keala Kennelly, Justine Dupont, Bianca Valenti, Maya Gabeira, Andrea Moller, Felicity Palmateer, Emily Erickson, Jamilah Star and a WSL Commissioner's pick to be determined.
Substitutes: Nicole Pacelli, Isabelle Leonhardt, Raquel Heckert
If it is determined in that order, Nicole Pacelli is competing in China in the SUP World Championships so Leonhardt would be the first alternate.
There is no updated information about Leonhardt on their social media.
The goofy Mexican footer caught the attention of the surfing world when she went down a wave during the Puerto Escondido Cup held in June and did a good tube on a giant right, placing second in the tournament.
We will expand.
