Mexico CT is likely to start tomorrow
This is the detailed forecast for the historic return of the world tour to Barra de la Cruz

The end of a southerly swell that has been working in Barra de la Cruz over the weekend and today, Monday, makes it very likely that tomorrow Tuesday, the first day of the waiting period, the Mexican CT will begin, Surfline reported.
The waves will be there but we have to wait and see if the wind cooperates, says Surfline. In any case, another swell will come in on Wednesday and Thursday, not of great magnitude but breaking from head height to above head height and with better wind conditions.
The waves remain fun throughout Friday and Saturday (going down) with offshore wind in the mornings and the challenge is given for the following days as the sea changes its direction to SW and the conditions look bad.
This is mixed with the potential for a more powerful swell to enter on the final day of the waiting period, the 19th.
Basically, the competition directors will have to determine whether to pack the event with the fun waves at the beginning of the waiting period or whether to go for that nice swell that comes in between the 18th and 19th.
