Although the Mexico CT will take place between August 10 and 20 in Barra de la Cruz, the WSL has already published the tournament series that are of special relevance to Mexicans because there will be at least two competing in it.

As reported by DUKE weeks ago, a trial with 16 men and eight women will take place on August 3 to determine the two qualifiers. However, the list published yesterday by the WSL includes three wildcard spots.

Depending on how the draw is determined, the Mexicans would compete against Italo Ferreira and Jadson André and/or Gabriel Medina and Deivid Silva.
Among the ladies, the date would be with Carissa Moore and Bronte Macaulay.
Among the rest of the series, there are several interesting ones, without a doubt, the one from round 1 has Kelly versus Filipe and Kolohe Andino.

Also on the list is Jordy Smith, who reportedly withdrew from the Olympics due to a knee injury.

Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy will face Tatiana Weston and Courtney Conlogue.
