Mexico announced its team for the ISA Junior World Championships
They are not travelling with a full team. Alan Cleland is the main Aztec card
The Mexican Surfing Federation has announced the list of athletes who will represent Mexico at the ISA Junior World Championships, which will take place in Huntington Beach, California, from October 27 to November 4.
The squad is not complete as one U-18 girl is missing. In addition, the great Mexican youth star of the moment, Alan Cleland, is being considered to compete in both categories, U-16 and U-18.
Mexico finished 20th in the last edition of the event that took place in Japan.
There is a heated controversy on social media because the young man from Puerto Escondido, Gael Jiménez, does not appear on the list.
