Argentine surfing star Nacho Gundensen, former junior world champion and second-best Latin American in the 2024-2025 QS regional, officially announced his relationship with the camera and forecasting company Lineup.

Both already had a lighter contract, but now they've signed a solid one-year contract that they hope will last over time.

“I'm very happy to officially be part of the team lineup. Up until now, we were just starting out, seeing from both sides if we liked how we worked, if it worked for us on both sides, and it was really good. It took six months of testing and adapting. We figured out what worked for us, and from now on, I'm an official team rider for at least a year,” Nacho began.

He added: “I'm very happy. It's a platform I use practically every day, so I like to feature brands that I actually use and consume and that are part of my life, and it makes it much easier for me to showcase them on my social media. That was the case with Lineup, where I think they liked keeping it simple because it generates organic content.”

Meanwhile, Fabián Fernández, CEO of Lineup, also expressed his delight with the new signing: “We are very happy to renew Nacho's contract, actually for a long term, and joining him is an honor. We are proud to support the career and development of a professional like him; a very good, kind, and available person; he's the kind of person we love working with.”

“I've met him in person, and I think he's a really cool person, and we love having him represent our brand abroad. The work he's been doing with our brand has been phenomenal, and whenever he's showcased our product on social media, he's done so with a very professional level; with very high quality, and that's incredibly important to us because Lineup is a brand that strives for and conveys high quality, and he manages to demonstrate and communicate that. The athletes we're always looking for, and we always look for the best, are also incredibly important for them to know how to make good use of their social media and how to use it to showcase our brand.”

Gundensen is currently competing in a leg of the WSL South America circuit in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte.
