Nacho Gundensen won an event in Sao Paulo and pocketed $3000
He won the third stage of the Triple Crown of San Sebastian
Argentine Nacho Gundensen won the third of three stages of the San Sebastian Triple Crown of Surfing and pocketed $3000; one of the events and regional circuits in Brazil that distributes the most money.
In the grand final, Gundensen defeated locals Thiago Camarao and Igor Moraes.
Gundensen finished the Triple Crown in fourth place (Camarao was the champion) and confirmed the good phase he is going through; the Argentine had placed third in the QS 1000 of Maresias, then fifth in the Baleia stage of the Triple Crown and then won in Maresias.
In the grand final he added two sevens as a result of that powerful backside attack, which was enough to leave the rest of the competitors out of reach.
