Nadav Attar guaranteed a spot at the 2025 WSL Junior World Cup
"We did it! What an incredible feeling to represent my country in the next World Cup!" said the young Costa Rican and Israeli.
Costa Rican Nadav Attar finished second in the 2024-2025 North American regional ranking, thereby qualifying for the pro junior world championships in his category, which always take place between December and January at a location to be determined.
Attar didn't have a good result in the final stage in Barbados, but his victory at SLO Cal in Pismo Beach earned him enough points to place among the two qualifiers, along with champion Will Deane.
“Qualified for the WSL World Junior Championship. Finished the season in second place in North America. We did it! What an incredible feeling to represent my country at the upcoming World Cup! Thank you to my family, friends, and sponsors for your support along the way! None of this would be possible without you,” Nadav wrote on his Instagram.
