The streak continues: Natxo González won La Vaca Gigante
A few days after winning the Quemao Class, the Basque lifted another trophy after riding waves in Cantabria
Basque surfer Natxo González won the special big wave event La Vaca Gigante, after riding his fair share of giant waves at the respected Cantabria break.
González beat Xabi López in second place and Axi Muniain in third. The latter won the special prize for the best wave of the event.
The best Cantabrian was Juan Merodio and the worst wipe out was taken by Stephan Iralour. The event dedicated a special mention to Luisette Tausia.
"I can't believe I ended the year winning an event and today I won La Vaca Gigante. Thanks once again for the invitation and to the locals for sharing their site," Natxo wrote on his Instagram.
