Natxo González on an epic getaway to Morocco
"In March 2021, a small window of opportunity arose when Morocco opened its border to the Spanish," says the protagonist about this trip that brought him joy in tubular form.
“Things haven’t been easy for anyone lately. Travel and quarantine restrictions have made it nearly impossible for me to travel outside the country over the past few months; I couldn’t chase swells or do my job.
But in March 2021, a small window of opportunity came when Morocco opened its border to the Spanish. And, believe it or not, the swell of the year entered the famous points nation in North Africa.
My great friend and filmmaker Jon Aspuru and I had no doubts and we took advantage of that small window."
This is what Natxo says about the video that can be seen above.
What great tubes!
