New authorities of the Peruvian federation announced preselection
And criteria for choosing representatives for the World Surfing Games; Mesinas and Rosas are in, there is controversy because Mulanovich was not guaranteed a place
The authorities of the Peruvian Surfing Federation (FENTA), which has just begun its mandate, announced today the pre-selection of surfers who will fight for a place in the Peruvian team that will travel to compete in the ISA World Surfing Games that will take place in El Salvador between May 29 and June 6.
He also reported that three dates will be held on March 8, 10 and 12 on beaches to be defined in the south of Lima. From there, the four remaining spots will be determined, since they guarantee their place to Lucca Mesinas and Daniella Rosas, current Pan American champions, because they say “they have already qualified for the World Cup.”
There was great unrest among fans of two-time ISA World Champion and WSL World Champion Sofia Mulanovich for not being guaranteed a place on the team considering that she is the current defending champion of that world championship.
Mulanovich herself shared around twenty stories on social media that raise complaints about this.
