Nicaragua confirmed its team for the Pan American surfing tournament

Six Nicaraguans will be present in Santa Catalina

Six Nicaraguan surfers will be representing their country at the Pan American Surfing Games to be held in Santa Catalina, Panama, April 21-30.

According to the surfing association of that country, the combined competition is as follows:

Yeferson Lopez
Nesmer Silva
Oscar Guzman
Oscar Espinoza

WOMEN'S OPEN:
Candelaria Resano

LONGBOARD:
Felipe Avendano

COACH:
Giancarlo Landolfi

Surfer Candelaria Resano has the most experience in international events. She has been in the top 20 at the junior and open levels in ISA world championships; in last year's Pan American event she managed to advance to the second round.

Nicaragua, which participated with three competitors last year in the Pan American Games in Venao, placed 17th.
