The 2020 Latin American circuit began on a day of small, blown waves in Sector 5 of Reñaca that grew in size as the day progressed along with the increase in onshore wind.

18 series were held, which determined the junior quarter-finals, the women's semi-finals, and the third and part of the fourth round of the open.

The start of the day was marked by the huge number of absences in round 1; out of eight series, only two were held.

After round 2 and all the series of the rest of the categories, the best performance of the day was made by the current defending champion  of the event in the junior, Noel de la Torre  who scored 14,25 in open and 14 in junior. The young 14-year-old goofy footer was the best of all in both categories.

Another one who stood out  It was another defending champion, Peruvian Juninho Urcia, who picked up where he left off last year, finding the walls and maneuvering quickly to sink one club after another and add 13 to his Open total.

Those who won their round 2 heats were promoted directly to round 4, in addition to De la Torre and Urcia, Duende Cross, Maximus Petrina, Tomas Bock, Lander de Gaminiz, skipped a round.  Esteban Cross and Dannilo Cerda.

Among the ladies, Lorena Fica, who just won the first stage of the national championship, was the best of the  day, adding 11 points when the rest of the winners did not exceed seven points of sum.

Meanwhile, among the youth, apart from De la Torre, only Vicente Díaz managed to overcome the barrier  of the 10 sum points.
