Oli Camarena is now the leader of the virtual ranking of the ALAS Pro Tour 2024

Still with a mathematical chance of winning the title: Toto, Óscar, Axel, Alonso, Andrés, Gabriel, Isauro and Thiago, in that order

With the defeat of Joaquín del Castillo in round 3 and the passage to the quarterfinals of the third in the ranking, Jean Carlos Oli Camarena González, now the leadership of the ranking is taken by the Panamanian who in the worst case scenario would reach 9480 points.

He is closely followed by Toto Goransky, who in the worst-case scenario is already guaranteed 9270 points.

This is if both teams finish fourth in the quarterfinals and add 2970 points to their score line. It is important to note that neither of the candidates has any discards and therefore everything they do in El Sunzal will count.

Then there is a significant gap between these two and the rest of the contenders, as the following top contenders lost in these days of the event: Alex Suárez, Raúl Ríos and Kai Gale.

And there it continues:
Oscar Urbina, with partial scores of 8310 points
Axel Castro with partials 7890
Alonso Correa with partial 7420
Andrés Echecopar with partials 7050
Gabriel Vargas with partials 6660
Isauro Elizondo with partials 6470
And Thiago Passeri with partial 5880

The maximum that each of those who have chances can aim for is the following:
Oil: 13110 points
Total: 12900
Oscar: 11940
Axel: 11520
Alonso: 11050
Andrew: 10680
Gabriel: 10290
Isauro: 10100
Thiago: 9510

And the other important thing is that in the crossovers there are only three contenders in one series, in the rest there are only two per series, which means that the probabilities of worst-case scenarios assigned are not altered.

In other words, this means that it is mathematically possible that those at the top will lose by achieving the worst possible score and those at the bottom will lose.

And, it also doesn't happen that two of the above are touched together, making it possible that one of them is third and therefore raising the requirement.

Then:

-Oli is leading with Toto Goransky very close behind. For an event with so many points, this is a technical tie; that is, whoever is higher among them wins (if it comes down to it).

-One step below is Oscar. At about 1000 points, which is ultimately the difference between first and second place: 6600 versus 5676; that is, 924 points.

-And about 1500 to 2500 points from the top are Axel, Alonso and Andrés.

-Already further down but still with a chance, more than 2500 points behind are Gabriel Vargas, Isauro Elizondo and Thiago Passeri.
