What Oli Camarena has done throughout El Salvador over the last year has been incredible. His surfing was crazy at Punta Roca, El Sunzal and La Bocana and he has shown it in different videos.

El Sunzal, which was his home in El Salvador during the entire time he spent there, had remained in debt, until now.

Former ISA world vice-champion, Oli showed what surfing is like on the wave where he trains all the time with his coach Marcelo Castellanos and the Puro Surf team.

“El Zonte is like my home, and apart from that I like it because it is a good beach to train; I can surf three or four times a day, there are many waves near here in El Salvador,” Oli told DUKE.

She also talked about her return to her second country after returning home and traveling to other destinations: “I like El Salvador, the people, the food, everyone treats me as if it were my home and the truth is that I am super happy to always have that welcome here,”

“I have been in El Salvador since December 2020. I was here for the entire season, almost half the year, seven months. First, I was training for the World Cup and Olympic qualification, but the results we expected did not come, so I left on June 7 to return to Panama and from there I spent some time with my family visiting them since I had not seen them for a long time.

Then I went to ALAS in Mexico where I placed ninth, it was not a result I expected either, but the important thing is to live the good experience as one always knows how to do and enjoy the moment as well.

Then I had to visit my girlfriend, we already had a date to see each other, I was with her for two weeks and then when I returned to Panama I spent a few days with my mother, my family, after those two weeks in the United States.

I had to travel at the last minute to Nicaragua to the Central American Championship, where I was invited. We went to represent the Panamanian flag. There I placed third, won the bronze medal, and from there I decided to return to El Salvador to continue training with my coach Marcelo Castellanos.”

In the video, it is clear once again that Oli's level is through the roof and that El Salvador has done a lot of good for him to make this happen.
