Almost all of the men's open quarterfinalists, all of the women's open quarterfinalists, and the semifinalists in the junior categories were determined after a marathon day in Jobos, Isabela, Puerto Rico.

Local Josuel Valentin had the best performance of the day in round 1, 14,67 (8+6,67).
