Oscar Urbina's exaggerated alley oop today at Punta Mango

The Costa Rican is inspired

Special coverage presented by Surf City - El Salvador Travel

Costa Rican Óscar Urbina completed a weighty alley oop earlier today at the Punta Mango wave in Oriente Salvaje, El Salvador.

Several professionals went to the wave by boat, Urbina himself, Tao Rodríguez, Noel de la Torre, Rachel Agüero, Rubiana Brownell, Jason Torres, among others who stood out throughout the session.

Tao, Noel, Rachel and Rubiana with their powerful backside attacks, Jason with his fluidity and Oscar was combining curved waves with buried edges and some aerials.

Halfway through the session, he was seen gaining speed and flying very high, already arousing the shouts of the whole band. But when he landed, as he lost a little control, there was silence among those rowing, only to shout again when he recovered from the foam.

Note of color: The Italian-Nicaraguan judge, Giancarlo Landolfi saw it all too closely (watch carefully).

Urbina is coming off winning the ALAS in Guatemala, competing well in Santiago 2023 and having some epic free surfing sessions in Playa Hermosa, where he managed to get some good aerials and tubes.

You are inspired.
