Peru, Canada, Italy, Costa Rica and Japan are the only countries that have all their surfers in the main event

The powerhouses, Brazil, Australia, the United States and France, have already seen a surfer from their team, respectively, fall to the repechage.

After two days of Surf City El Salvador ISA World Surfing Games, only the teams from Peru, Canada, Costa Rica, Italy and Japan still have their six surfers alive in the main event, all with an extra life that gives you the repechage.

The strongest nations in the event on paper, such as Brazil, the United States, Australia and France, have already seen one of their athletes drop to the repechage.

Chumbinho Chianca, John John Florence, Ryan Callinan and Joan Duru are now in the losers round.

As far as the partial team rankings are concerned, all the teams that are complete are still tied, but the aforementioned nations have the advantage that all their surfers are in the main event.

Peru's Daniella Rosas, Sol Aguirre, Arena Rodriguez, Lucca Mesinas, Alonso Correa and Miguel Tudela all remain in the main event.

Carlos Muñoz, Tomas King, Malakai Martinez, Leilani McGonagle, Nataly Bernold and Erika Berra are all moving on to the winners round.

Like Kanoa Igarashi, Reo Inaba, Taichi Wakita, Shino Matsuda, Amuro Tsuzuki and Mahina Maeda from Japan, Edoardo Papa, Leo Fioravanti, Jessé Mendes, Giada Legati, Emily Gussoni and Indiana Ferri from Italy and Sanoa and Mathea Olin, Erin Brooks , Cody and Levi Young and Wheeler Hasbrugh of Canada.
