The Peruvian team is third in the world ranking for longboard world teams and if they manage to create an interesting combination they could easily win the tournament being held in Biarritz, France.

Martín Pérez, Julián Schweizer, Ignacio Pignataro, Dorian Torres, Piccolo Clemente and María Fernanda Reyes will fight for gold today in the ISA longboard world championship, which took place in a short but intense day this Saturday in Biarritz.

The ISA World Championships, which began with more than 100 competitors, have been reduced to 20.

On the final day, 10 series will be held to determine the champions and the winning team.

In the partial team ranking, the United States and France are tied for first place, with Peru close behind in third place and quite far behind Brazil, which appears fourth.

The day was especially tasty for Uruguay, which had a shared series with its two top exponents, an Italian and a Portuguese, and the team from the small South American country managed to get through.

The eight remaining in the repechage still have three heats to go through to qualify for the event final.

Those who are comfortable are Piccolo Clemente and Mafer Reyes who are already in the final of the main event.
