Peru confirmed its team for the South American youth tournament in Mar del Plata

This is the inkateam that will defend the regional title

The National Surfing Federation (FENTA) announced yesterday the team that will be participating in the South American youth championship that will take place between March 28 and April 2 in Honu Beach, Mar del Plata.

The defending champions will be fielding a powerful men's team that includes Manuel Robles, Alejandro Bernales, Gabriel Ljubicic, Bastian Pierce, Luca Chipoco and Bastián Arévalo.

And, at the female level, Urpi Torres, Rebeca Robles, Sofía Arteda and Aissa Chuman.

The event will crown the team that achieves the best collective result as champion, and the best men and women in the under-14, under-16 and under-18 divisions at an individual level.

Peru has already won this event twice, last year in Argentina and in 2021 in Colombia.

The Peruvian team will have the legendary Magoo de la Rosa as coach and will also travel with Jose Carlos Cruz Gordillo as part of the technical team.
