Peru seeks to confirm WSL stage in Punta Rocas for October
They are going for a QS 3000 for men and 1000 for women in the classic break
Peru and the WSL are in talks to confirm a stage in the regional QS, reported the country's newspaper, El Comercio, and the WSL has included the stage in its calendar.
Both the aforementioned newspaper and the WSL website talk about a men's QS 3000, while among the women the stage would be worth 1000 points.
The possible stage location would be Punta Rocas and the dates would be from October 25 to 30.
The last time Peru organized a QS was in April 2019 when Frenchman Gatien Delahaye won the final of the Ladies QS 3000.
