La The situation of the Peruvian team in the Backdoor Shootout improved significantly yesterday Friday in the Backdoor Shootout after they went into the water twice and all the country's representatives surfed good waves.

In the first series the pace was similar to the previous ones, with only one surfer, Alonso Correa, surfing a tube but the rest remaining relatively still, but in the second, the sea heated up for the Peruvians and they did not waste their time.

The two best waves of that second series were surfed by Joaquín del Castillo and Álvaro Malpartida, who came down hard and got two very dry tubes for Pipe.

Cristóbal de Col also found a pretty deep one and Gabriel and Alonso took a couple of good ones.

Villarán was close to getting out of a very deep tube, in fact he managed to break the doggy door but he did not maintain control and the same thing happened to him with another very heavy one that Álvaro Malpartida did, who came down hard and established a good line but was unable to get out of the tube.

There are five days left in the waiting period and the swell is not stopping on the North Shore; it is assumed that today, Saturday, there is a chance that it will be released and then again from Monday. On Sunday, the swell will get too big on the North Shore; that is what they said on the live broadcast.
