The Peruvian surfing team won its second South American youth title after dominating the final day of the event, which was contested in half-meter waves at Honu Beach, Mar del Plata.
Although Argentina arrived with all 12 members of the team alive on the final day, the Peruvians took advantage because they won in the under 14 women's and men's categories, under 16 women's and a one-two in the under 18 men's.
