Chronicle of events that yesterday defined the 2019 Latin champion

Huanchaco native Juninho Urcia has just been crowned Latin surfing champion after his main rival in the rankings, Lucas Madrid, was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Surf City El Salvador ALAS Latin Pro.
According to DUKE's calculations, if Madrid won, Urcia would have lost his chances because he had been eliminated yesterday. But, in a very close series against the local Bryan Pérez, which ended 14,83 to 13,86, Madrid lost its hopes of winning the cup.
Urcia started the tour by winning in Reñaca, then he did not achieve a good result in Barranca, he advanced a couple of series in Puerto Escondido and finally, with a round of 16 in El Salvador, he took the crown.
Madrid reached 8526 points and Urcia had added 8700 points. In the top 5 there will also be Duende Cross who has 8490 points and Sebastián Correa who made 8220.
We will expand.
