Peruvian Lucca Mesinas won the QS in Acapulco
He returned to the ring: After being away for a little over a month due to a back injury, today he found victory again
Peruvian Lucca Mesinas won the Surf Open League Acapulco with a devastating performance, a 1000-level QS tournament that concluded today in good waves at Revolcadero beach. Mesinas defeated last year's finalist, Cole Houshand from California, in the final.
The Peruvian's backside once again proved to be unbeatable, just as in the 3000m in Barbados where he won and the 1500m in Indonesia, where he placed third.
With this result Messinas will be adding 580 points because he discards 420.
Peruvian Alonso Correa and Mexican Jhonny Corzo achieved a respectable third place. Dylan Southworth from Mexico and JJ López from Venezuela also finished fifth.
We will expand.
