Peruvian festival in Peñascal
Melanie Giunta and Cristobal De Col won a historic QS - ALAS after four days of waves in the mythical wave of San Bartolo
The house made itself respected on the voluminous rights of Peñascal, after four days of championship yesterday Cristóbal de Col and Melanie Giunta, won the ALAS and QS that took place there.
With this result, De Col catapulted himself 80 places in the ranking, from 210 to 130, and confirmed that he is going through a fantastic phase, especially when the waves are strong: He won the international competition in Pico Alto, he won in La Herradura and now he won in Peñascal.
Meanwhile, Melanie Giunta, who is coming off her first QS win in Brazil, didn't waste much time and won two in one week. Peñascal's right-handers gave the goofy footer the space she needed to show off the power of her surfing. Giunta moved up three more spots in the rankings and now stands at 30th place.

Barona was officially crowned, Chila must wait for the final stage in El Salvador
ALAS finally made official what was reported yesterday by DUKE and gave Mimi Barona the Latin champion trophy, no matter what happens in El Salvador, the Ecuadorian is the champion.
Regarding the men's title, if the final stage is two stars, Chila is champion, if it is three Samuel Igo of Brazil would only pass him by winning in El Salvador, provided that Chila has a bad result there.
