This is how Costa Rica won the regional title in El Paredón

Costa Rica won the Central American surfing competition that took place in El Paredón, Guatemala this weekend.

Below are the photos taken on the final day.

The day began with SUP races that were won by Panamanians Edonays Caballero and Mackie Zamudio.
Edonays grabbed the tip of one and didn't let go until the end
And then he pulled away from the rest of the pack.
Pedro Pablo Vergara has been carrying the flag of Guatemalan surfing for several decades and is now passing the torch to his children. Fresh from Denmark, he placed third in the race.
Brian Berkovitz, also newly arrived from Denmark, won silver.
