Picklum, Bryan, and Simmers are the top earners from CT prize money this year.

These three made more money in the regular season than world champion Yago Dora.

World champion Molly Picklum was the top-earning female surfer in prize money at the CT this year, earning $491500, surpassing men's world champion Yago Dora by $130.000, who earned $360110, according to the specialized website Empire Ave.

In fact, Gabriela Bryan and Caitlin Simmers, ranked second and third in the pre-finals rankings, earned more than Dora; the former earned 446500 and the latter 374500.

This is because, while there is equal pay, the prize money is divided between 36 men and 18 women, event by event.

-For each event surfed on average 35875 and women 35236.
-The ranking for monetary efficiency per wave was won by Gabriela Bryan, who surfed 164 waves and earned $446500; that is, she received $2722 for each wave.
-The best man in this efficiency ranking was the patient Jack Robinson who surfed 202 waves and earned $333330, earning $1650 per wave.
