Point Break sequel series in the works
Johnny Utah's daughter will search for her father who disappeared after the episode with Bodhi

Hollywood media broke the news this week that renowned writer W. Peter Iliff has teased that he is preparing a sequel series to the classic Point Break.
“Johnny Utah has gone missing. His body hasn’t been found. He’s been reported dead for years. There’s a mystery surrounding where he is, and you’re going to find out. He’s not dead. There’s a bigger story evolving around that, and in the meantime she gets involved in this eco-terrorist movement, which of course becomes a big deal,” the author shared.
In the final scene of Point Break, Utah frees Bodhi to go surfing the 50-year storm. Seconds later, he throws his police badge into a puddle as he leaves Bells Beach.
The film starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and Gary Busey became a cult film within the surfing world because at a time when there wasn't much surfing on VHS, the film not only showed it but also made vibrant expressions about surf culture.
