Presents Surf City El Salvador
El Tunco local Porfirio Miranda won stage 2 of the Salvadoran national circuit, the Surf City CNS Tour Copa Indes, which took place in La Bocana last Saturday and Sunday.
To keep his chances of fighting for the title, Miranda needed to prevent Bryan Pérez from winning, since he had been the champion of the first of three stages that will be contested.
Thanks to his local knowledge and his frontside surfing on the perfect left, he won by 11,10 to 9,50 and now he must win on stage 3 to be champion.
Bryan Pérez finished second and already has good points in the ranking. Manuel Rivas finished third and Josué David Molina fourth.
Among the women, Katherine Díaz won and made things spicy in the women's ranking since Evelyn Centeno, who placed second in the last stage in Punta Roca, repeated her result so the category will be decided in the last stop of the tour.
In the youth category, the new addition was made by brothers Vicente and Nico Díaz from Chile who placed first and second respectively, Alejandro Martínez and Brayan Molina completed the final.
The longboard was won again by Amado de Jesús Alvarado and everything indicates (if we add the best two of the three stages) that he is now the national champion of the division.
The rest of the results were as follows:
