Powerful Argentine team confirmed its presence at the Pan American Games in Panama

Among its ranks are five ISA world titles, several Pan American medals and Latin American titles.

A strong Argentine team has confirmed its presence at the Pan American Surfing Games that will take place in Playa Venao, Panama, between August 7 and 13, according to information provided to DUKE by the event organizers.

It includes, among other international talents, five-time ISA world champions Lele Usuna (2x), Santiago Muñiz (2x) and Nacho Gundensen (1x).

The team also includes 2021 Argentine champion Tomás López Moreno, current ISA top 15 Lucía Indurain, 12-time Argentine champion and medalist in Lima 2019 Ornella Pellizzari, and current Latin champion Martín Pérez, among other names.

Argentina placed third in the overall team ranking at the 2018 Pan American Games, which qualified for Lima 2019. In this event, it won the men's silver medal with Lele Usuna and the women's bronze medal with Ornella Pellizzari.
