A powerful and experienced Argentine junior team will be at the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Surfing Championship that will take place in La Bocana and El Tunco between May 27 and June 5.

The Argentine team is loaded with talent and hunger for international competitions; it is the same team that has excelled in the South American youth championships, winning many medals.

Ignacio Ruggiero, Joaquín and Victoria Muñoz Larreta, Vera Jarisz, Coco Cianciarulo, to name a few, make up the powerful Argentine team.

Argentina finished 15th in the last World Cup, held in Huntington Beach, California.

The best result of the last 10 years for the Albiceleste team was the eighth they obtained in Japan in 2017, when Nacho Gundensen was world champion. In that period of time they have placed 15th, 14th and 12th on three occasions.
