Powerful Brazilian team goes all out for the Pan American Games in Panama

A full squad of 20 athletes, including former members of the CT, will be competing in August in Playa Venao

Twenty experienced surfers including former CT members, challenger competitors, current QS competitors and national champions will be competing in the 2022 Pan American Surfing Championships taking place in Playa Venao between August 7 and 13, the Pan American Surfing Association informed DUKE.

The event will be key to determining the seeding for the 2023 Pan American Surfing Championship, which will be a qualifier for Santiago 2023.

Former CT members of the team include Joao Chianca and Deivid Silva, joined by challenger series members Laura Raupp and Sophia Medina, world longboard champions Chloe Calmon and Rodrigo Sphaier, and notable SUPers Luis Diniz and Aline Adisaka, among others.
