Powerful Peruvian team makes its presence felt at the Pan American Games

Peru has confirmed its team to participate in the 2026 Pan American Surfing Games, which will take place in Playa Venao, Panama, between April 24 and May 3, PASA told DUKE.
Although they lack a female SUP Surfer, the Peruvians are traveling with 21 world-class athletes in all categories.
Challenger competitors such as Carena, Rosas, Sol Aguirre, Lucca Mesinas and Alonso Correa, former world champions such as Piccolo Clemente, world medalists such as Mafer Reyes and Pan American champions such as Itzel Delgado, among others.
The team has an experienced and extensive group of coaches that includes Gabriel Aramburu and Cristóbal de Col.
Peru comes from placing first in the Pan American Games last year, which took place in Guatemala.
