The wave forecast for the World Masters Championships to be held in El Sunzal from October 18 to 24 looks promising, according to Surfline.

The first day of the event looks average, with “poor” waves of 2 to 3 feet that, in any case, with the consistency that El Sunzal has, will be better than half of the surfing championships around the world.

But then the good stuff begins, starting on the 20th everything improves: Swell and conditions; a south-southwest swell arrives that will produce waves of 4 to 5 feet that rise to 6 to 8 on Monday the 21st and reach its apex on Tuesday the 22nd to then gradually drop to 6 to 8 and end the event on the 24th with waves of acceptable conditions around 5 to 7 feet.
