Puerto Rico announced a strong team for the Pan American Games in Guatemala.

Full team with several Pan American and world medalists

Puerto Rico will have a strong team at the PASA Games Guatemala 2025 Pan American Surf Festival, which will take place at Playa El Rosario from July 3-13, PASA informed DUKE.

The Puerto Ricans are traveling with their full team of 22 entrants, with only a few repeat entrants two or three times, and many high-level athletes who have won medals at World and Pan American Championships, such as Mariecarmen Rivera in SUP Race or Maximilian Torres in SUP Surf.

The Puerto Ricans are coming off a seventh-place finish at the previous Pan American Games, where they won a gold medal with Rivera, a silver medal with Jamine Dean in longboarding, and a copper medal with Luz Marie Grande in bodyboarding.
