Punta Roca yesterday with Bryan Pérez

This is how the most renowned wave local prepares for his participation in the trials and, if everything goes well, in the CT (and this is how he broke the J-Bay of Latin America with the arrival of a medium swell)

Bryan Pérez is the favourite to win the trials and to face the best in the world at the Punta Roca CT, which will begin its waiting period on June 12.

His clips from the wave have gone around the world and he has won over the best fans who now write to him for local information, details of the wave and information on where to stay and more. Filipe, Griffin, Seth Moniz, among others, have contacted him for advice prior to the seventh CT.

With the arrival of a medium swell at Punta Roca combined with an improvement in wind conditions, Perez took to the water on what was the best day of the last week on the wave.

His knowledge of the wave and his talent for surfing it immediately draws attention when seen from outside the water, due to the speed he generates, the radical nature of the maneuvers he performs in sections that any human would avoid, and the number of waves he encounters.

Bryan is excited about the arrival of the CT but he has to pass a series to compete against the best; the trials in which he will compete against Porfirio Miranda, Juan Carlos Ramos and Ericson Ortiz.

That step will guarantee him a new laurel in his career, competing in a CT, and who knows, beating the best? Advancing a couple of series? Winning it?
