The Puro Surf hotel and surfing academy is now part of Uniendo Fuerzas Por El Salvador, a group of young Salvadorans who gather resources for the families who have been most affected by the crisis brought on by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The first stage of the campaign will be to help 250 families in the El Zonte area, one of the best and most consistent right-wing groups in Latin America, hoping to then continue with aid for the communities of Chiltiupan, the Punta Roca area, La Perla, among other beaches and sectors of La Libertad.
According to a press release from Puro Surf, the quarantine caused by the Covid-19 crisis forced people to stay at home and affected many Salvadoran families who subsist on work and a daily budget, which is why the group of young people decided to join together to work for their community.
They created this GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/apoyando-a-el-salvador
“We would like to invite all our friends around the world to join this effort, which will be of great benefit to coastal communities and will help many families stay in their homes and be well supplied while we go through this crisis that is affecting the entire world,” says Puro Surf.
