Rafael Texeira and Melania Suárez took the third place

The 12 finalists who will decide the great champions of this year's Siroko league have been determined

Brazilian Rafael Texeira and Canarian Melania Suárez won the third stage of the Siroko League, which concluded yesterday Sunday in the waves of Doniños, in La Coruña.

Texeira, a well-known QS warrior, spoiled the party for the strong contingent of locals who went to seek the 2000 euros and the points for the final test. He beat Kalani da Silva in the final; Vicente Romero and Gonzalo Guiterrez tied for third place.

“I'm coming from competing in the QS events where I didn't do well and now I'm very happy to have come first here,” explained the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Melania Suárez, who is 15 years old, once again made it clear that she has everything to be the first Spanish woman in the CT. She beat Lucía Martiño in the grand final by 13,83 to 11,77. Third place went to Yoli Rodríguez and Isa Gundin.
