Ricardo Toledo did not like the scores

“What a joke about these notes! One series comes in, and another comes in, and the errors don't stop! (…) It's unacceptable that this continues,” he wrote.

Former Brazilian national champion and ISA Master medalist Ricardo Toledo, Filipe's father, once again expressed his dissatisfaction with his son's series scores, criticizing the lack of defined criteria and saying, "It's unacceptable that this continues."

Toledo spoke out on Instagram after his son Filipe lost in the final stages of his series against Miguel Pupo.

“What a joke about these grades! The series goes back and forth, and the mistakes keep coming! A lying wave, how can it have a higher score than red? Where's the compression and difficulty level? Where are the judging criteria? IT'S UNACCEPTABLE FOR THIS TO CONTINUE...,” he wrote in a previous story.

And then in another, he added: "And the succession of errors continues... What can I say at this point? Very sad for surfing, very inconsistent officiating, with no defined criteria."

And an hour later he wrote: “Trying to digest what happened here.
The feeling of indignation is indescribable, and the desire that arises is to send everything to that place... But we remain firm, certain that divine justice will be fulfilled, Always!

Toledo showed in his stories that he ended the day by putting in an hour of SUP in California, where he lives.

Filipe's defeat made a gesture that was shown on the broadcast when he went to congratulate Miguel on the victory.
