Legendary footballer Ronaldo Nazario has become a strategic partner of the newest wave pool and club announced in Brazil, the Reserva Beach Club in Alphaville, Sao Paulo, according to several newspapers and the athlete himself on social media.

It will feature a Surf Loch WaveBender technology wave pool and promises to be an emblem of luxury and elegance.

According to AS, the lifetime membership to the beach club is $120.000 and $3.500 will be accepted.

The place will have several other swimming pools, gyms, a skate park, among many other amenities.

Ronaldo admitted he's not a good surfer, recalling his time as a bodyboarder in Rio. But he affirmed: "I'm motivated to be part of something that looks to the future."
