Roseyró, Von Rupp and Dupont won the Nazaré Challenge

Chilean Rafael Tapia's team finished seventh

Frenchman Clement Roseyró won the Nazaré Challenge in the men's category, achieving a high score of 21,83 and his team, formed together with local Nic Von Rupp, won the tournament's doubles prize.

Meanwhile, Frenchwoman Justine Dupont took the women's victory.

The waves were not the ones dreamed of for this edition of the event but at times they were challenging and it ended up being a championship of big waves but also of high performance in them.

Roseyró and Von Rupp's team scored 37,87 out of a possible 60 to beat Scooby and Chianca who came in second with 35,2.

Among the women, Dupont clocked 19,06, which was much higher than the 13.03 of Michelle des Bouillons of Brazil.

Chilean Rafael Tapia and his partner Pierre Rollet had a good first round, starting third but being overtaken as the day progressed. They added 25 points with Tapia making 10,67 out of 30 possible.
