Ryanair has not yet paid the refund for those demolished boards
This is surely the worst case of board destruction by an airline; the trolley carrying the stairs ran over the envelope several times.
Irish airline Ryanair has yet to pay a refund for completely destroying three surfboards belonging to Welsh surfer Willem Beck, in what is one of the worst cases of surfboard destruction by an airline in history.
According to what he told Kookslams, he still hasn't received the refund even though immediately after getting off the flight that brought him back from Hossegor, he was told not to worry, that he would receive everything.
According to what he said in that interview, the damage was caused by the cart that carries the stairs of the planes that are boarded on foot, which passed over the wooden envelope several times.
In addition to the boards, clothing, wetsuits and board socks were destroyed.
It's been over a month and a half and they still haven't sent him the money.
